PREPOSITIONS IN ENGLISH
The preposition
is an invariable part of the sentence, that is, it does not undergo changes or
grammatical accidents (it has neither gender: feminine or masculine, nor
number: singular or plural) and its application is that of introducing a term,
either a nominal group or a sentence, with which they make up an ordered set of
words, in short, the different elements that make up a clause. The use of prepositions
is mandatory in the construction of correct and coherent sentences.
